1956 Metalsa begins to manufacture light poles.

Founded under the name of Manufacturas Metálicas Monterrey, by don Guillermo Zambrano Lozano. Four years later in 1960, the first automotive rim was built, and with it, the introduction of Metalsa to the automotive industry.

Founded under the name of Manufacturas Metálicas Monterrey, by don Guillermo Zambrano Lozano. Four years later in 1960, the first automotive rim was built, and with it, the introduction of Metalsa to the automotive industry.

In Nuevo León, México, Jucosa began operations with just a few tens of hectares of orange trees to export to other states of Mexico and the United States.

The Automotive Division was established, becoming the first chassis-frame manufacturer in Mexico.

With a daily capacity to process 300 tons of oranges, the company reinforced its focus to become a key player around the globe.

In the same year, the moto "Quality as a way of life" was institutionalized as a key factor in Metalsa's history of success and growth.

A commercial vehicle plant located in Roanoke, USA. This milestone was the beginning of the Group's expansion to foreign markets, which a few years later began operations in India, Australia, Argentina and England

Today, Astrum provides solutions in Telemetry, Tracking & Location, Satellite Communication, Control Center and other integrated solutions.

2009 Citrofrut acquires Vía Nectare, a tropical fruit processing plant, in Taquaritinga, São Paulo, Brazil.

The main objective of this plant was to process Mangos, however, two years later, new end-consumer products were offered.
